My girls and I are going to study apples again this fall – so fun!
I’m slowly but surely creating the printables and worksheets that we’ll use during our study. (I’m running at turtle speed these days, it seems.)
Since my girls are different ages and stages – 2nd grade, Kindergarten, Preschool – I’m creating materials that all of them can use. Some are a bit older, some quite a bit younger, and some that can be adapted for all ages.

Apple Life Cycle Mini-Book
In our studies, we’ll definitely learn about the life cycle of an apple – from seed all the way to fruit.
As all of my regular readers know, my little girls just love a mini book! So I created an Apple Life Cycle mini-book where they can write all they know about an apple’s life cycle.
Of course my 2nd grader should be able to write complete sentences in each section, while my Kindergartner will only write a word in each section with my spelling help.
I will expect them to assemble the pages in the correct life cycle order.

Also included in this printable set is an Apple Life Cycle Vocabulary page.
Using the words at the bottom, my 2nd grader will write in the correct term on the line. My Kindergartner and I will go over this paper together orally while she points out the answers.
Identify Parts of an Apple Worksheet

In this Parts of an Apple Worksheet, my girls will cut out the apple words at the bottom of the page and paste them in the correct place on the picture.
